This makes it so (assuming you hit a ‘perfect’ shot) the ball will hit right on your originally intended target.

So when your target is on the ground, you adjust your shot as desired and then pull your target 1 full ring (to the edge between the yellow center and the first inside orange ring) AGAINST the wind. So if you have a Sniper 7, which has 100 accuracy, that equates (through the mechanics of the game and club stats) to 1.0 for one ring, which means that in the presence of a 1.0 mph wind (at maximum club distance), your ball will travel 1 ring due to the wind in whatever direction it is blowing. Look at the chart while you read my explanation below and if I lose you at any point, tell me where I lost you. So I flipped it and devised the method above, which utilizes rings per wind. Even with the chart in front of me it gave me a headache. It assigns each ring a value of wind based on the club’s stats, but to me it requires a lot of mental math to be accurate (essentially each ring for a particular club is worth a specific amount of wind, usually with a decimal, so you have to adjust based on how many rings divide into that amount of wind). The original ring method, which is the most widely used, is wind per rings. GolfClashTommy's "Video Guides For All Tours (2-11)" Post and his video Guide for 47 Shootouts post.
